Fall Sports Are Back
Hello and Welcome TMS Middle School Parents and Families!
It is my distinct pleasure to let you know that TMS middle school athletics will be back for the 21/22 academic school year. It has been almost two full years since our amazing student athletes have taken to the court or the field. This year we will be offering our full slate of fall, winter, and spring sports.
If you are unaware, TMS offers:
Ultimate Frisbee (co-ed),
and Cross Country (co-ed)
Girls and Boys Basketball
Track and Field
Baseball (This spring we will also be piloting Baseball)
TMS teams play in Division 1 of the Metro Atlanta Athletic Conference or MAAC (https://www.maacsports.org/), though we also hope to partner with Druid Hills Youth Sports for Baseball.
We have also developed specific COVID-19 protocols for return to play, which will be up on our website shortly and will keep your student's safety as our number one priority.
If you have a 5th, 6th, 7th, or 8th grader that would like to participate in the fall please click on the registration link.
Please note that 5th graders can practice with the teams and attend games/matches, but cannot compete in games/matches unless there is a team need.
If you have any question or concerns you can reach me at email@example.com.
Sports Physical required
All students will be required to submit a completed sports physical/medical form to participate in middle school sports this year. Also, parents and coaches will be required to complete concussion awareness training as part of ensuring our students safety. There is a lot of misconceptions regarding concussions so we want to clear up any confusion for our parents and coaches.
